  2. Earlier this week my family said goodbye to my Great Aunt Sam (Sister Anne Marie). She lived a rich life, not a life full of things but a life full of community. She loved our family and loved the church.

Saying goodbye to Sam has been especially hard. She ended up in the hospital with Covid and spent her last days alone, away from her family and friends that she served with for 69 years.

I remember being little and thinking she had such a cool life, living in community and getting to serve all over the country. She lived selflessly and it showed.

Please wear a mask, wash your hands and social distance. You never know who’s life you might save.

RIP Sam, we love you. 💕
