Associate Jean Mann December 6, 1934 – March 22, 2021, Accepted November 5, 1981

Associate Jean Mann died on March 22, 2021, in Naperville, Illinois, at the age of 86. She was born on December 6, 1934, to Thomas and Ysobel Hovorka.

Jean first met the BVMs at St. Eulalia grade school in Maywood, Illinois. She was accepted into the BVM Affiliate program on November 5, 1981, and was a BVM Associate for over 40 years. Jean was taught music by Mary Clemento McGovern, BVM, and they enjoyed a long friendship.

Jean is survived by her many friends at St. Patrick’s Residence in Naperville and was a loving aunt to one niece and two nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial was held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville on March 30, 2021, and she is interred at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
