  1. I was a student of sister earnest at incarnation in Glendale ca. I’m not sure how old I was but if I’m 55 now, it had to have been in the 70’s.
I was one of the kids who was very mischievous. I put sister thru heck but deep down inside , I believe sister had a deep caring for me and all of us who were considered the wild bunch. I loved sister even thru my childish actions. She was kind , caring and had such a great sense of humor. I loved being in her class. I was undiagnosed with ADD at the time, but I think sister always knew something was different about me. She always treated me with respect though.
To this day, there’s a dozen or so of us that still remain friends from 1st grade, and her name comes up when we all get together, or via social media. Sister left memories in all of our hearts and she will never be forgotten until the end of our times on this earth. Rip. Tony

  2. In my thoughts and prayers Sister Ernest… thank you for being a teacher I’ll always remember . XOXO

  3. SR. Earnest taught me at Incarnation School in Glendale CA. She was a wonderful person and left a lasting memory of my time in her classroom. God bless her. She’s with the Lord.

  4. Sister Mary Ernest was known to me as Aunt Dotty, as her birth name was Dorothea. My father Frank Rothe was her sister. She was always kind to me and offered her knowledge freely. Rest in peace Aunt Dotty.
