I am now 72 and Sr. Mary Marjorie taught me in first grade at Saint Patrick’s School in Lincoln, Illinois. About 17 years ago Sister Pat and I reunited on email. I so loved Sister and all the BVMs. I ended up in show business, and I must thank Sr. Mary Editha Brown for discovering my talent at Carroll Catholic School. Sr. Marjorie told me of Editha’s passing and sent me a photo of her grave. I hadn’t heard from Sr. Pat for about 2 years and was concerned. NOW I know of her “slipping into heaven” on Saint Valentine’s Day. May Heaven Rest Her Now.
