  1. So sad to hear of Sr Eileen’s passing. She was my 5th grade teacher at St Cecelia’s in Portland, Oregon. She was everyone’s favorite! We visited her in Dubuque while on a trip in early 2000 and I’ve kept in touch with her ever since.
    She was a real sweetheart!
Rest in peace, sweet friend and enjoy reconnecting with friends and family!

  2. I remember Sister Eileen who was at St. Paul’s Grammar school for my sister and brother’s classes in the 70’s. She was a very nice teacher and principal who wasn’t stuck in the office but would get out and mingle with the kids and always had a gentle smile. My class graduated from St. Paul’s Grammar school in 1966.
