Mary Ann Zollmann, BVM Appointed Life Trustee of Loyola University Chicago

Mary Ann Zollmann, BVM was recently appointed as a Life Trustee by the Loyola University Chicago Board. Her leadership and dedication, especially during her tenure as Vice Chair and Chair of various committees, has earned her this esteemed honor. Mary Ann shares, “This honor, humbling and meaningful beyond adequate words, affirms what has been true for me: Loyola lives in me for life.”

Mary Ann served for 12 years as vice president and president of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Prior to that, she taught religious studies for nearly 40 years. Mary Ann served on the Board of Trustees from 2009 to 2018, including three years as Vice Chair. She holds a BA from Mundelein College, MAs from Purdue University, University of San Francisco, and Duquesne University–where she also earned a PhD.
